Bogotá Fashion Week 2026 — Crónica desde adentro

La edición 2026 del Bogotá Fashion Week presentó una mezcla de dinamismo en las propuestas creativas de sus asistentes, con una cuota hegemónica que aún representa la parte más conservadora de la industria. Esa tensión, lejos de restar, resultó interesante de observar. Desde esta mirada, fue una edición cargada de amor por lo colombiano: mucho sabor latino, layers, prints, texturas, maximalismo y poco miedo al riesgo. Una línea muy difusa entre lo "chic" y la expresión más genuina de lo que la moda representa para cada quien. "Era emocionante ver tanta gente reunida en una atmósfera verdaderamente creativa"

The 2026 edition of Bogotá Fashion Week presented a blend of dynamism across its attendees' creative proposals, alongside a hegemonic quota that still represents the most conservative side of the industry. That tension, far from detracting, made for a fascinating thing to witness. From where I stood, this was an edition charged with love for all things Colombian: plenty of Latin flavor, layers, prints, textures, maximalism, and little fear of risk. A very blurry line between the "chic" and the most genuine expression of what fashion means to each person. It was truly exciting to see so many people gathered together in a deeply creative atmosphere.

Conversatorios

Este año se apostó por panelistas y moderadores muy calificados, lo que aportó mucho más que un nombre conocido: aportó impacto real por la calidad de las conversaciones. Tantos creativos asistentes se cuestionaron sus oficios, sus hábitos, sus formas de trabajar y se replantearon cómo se ve la industria hoy, sus retos pero también sus ganancias y cosas positivas.

Gran trabajo en texturas, siluetas y colores. Una propuesta coherente y visualmente potente de principio a fin.

La Petit Mort

Maestría en la perfecta armonía entre la poderosa sastrería y el maravilloso legado de lo artesanal colombiano.

Pitbulliyng

Colectivo urbano con una pasarela cargada de autenticidad, ADN y cliente bien definidos. Styling muy atractivo. El cierre con una artista captó perfectamente la emoción de la propuesta.

This year, the bet was placed on highly qualified panelists and moderators — a choice that delivered far more than a recognizable name: it delivered real impact through the quality of the conversations. So many creative attendees found themselves questioning their craft, their habits, their ways of working, and reconsidering how the industry looks today — its challenges, but also its wins and everything worth celebrating.

Lyenzo — Exceptional work in textures, silhouettes, and color. A coherent, visually powerful proposal from start to finish.

La Petit Mort — A masterclass in the perfect harmony between commanding tailoring and the remarkable legacy of Colombian artisanship.

Pitbulliyng — An urban collective with a runway charged with authenticity, a well-defined DNA and customer, and highly compelling styling. The closing performance by a live artist captured the emotional pulse of the show perfectly.

One of the most significant highlights of this edition was the invitation of international talent — a strategic move that allowed Bogotá Fashion Week to transcend borders and begin establishing itself as a genuine point of reference for audiences that had never had it on their radar before. In that same spirit, opening more runway space to new and emerging brands was perhaps the event's most honest decision: a powerful reminder of the creativity and innovation that continues to take root across the Colombian fashion industry. Add to this a noticeably smoother entry and registration process, and a conversatorio curation that, this time, chose depth over noise — delivering genuinely formative spaces where learning truly took center stage.

Entre los grandes aciertos de esta edición, uno de los más significativos fue la invitación de talento internacional, un movimiento estratégico que le permitió al Bogotá Fashion Week trascender fronteras y comenzar a consolidarse como un punto de referencia real para audiencias que antes ni lo tenían en el radar. En esa misma línea, abrir más espacio en pasarela para marcas nuevas y emergentes fue, quizás, la decisión más honesta del evento: un recordatorio contundente de la cantidad de creatividad e innovación que sigue germinando en la industria colombiana. A esto se suma una logística de ingreso y registro notablemente más ágil, y una curaduría de conversatorios que, esta vez, apostó por la profundidad sobre el ruido, garantizando espacios genuinamente formativos donde el aprendizaje fue protagonista.
